About Pijoo

Pijoo is a social platform for sharing and discovering interesting content from around the web, allowing users to vote on articles, images and videos to deliver a stream of fresh content to your browser. The site began in 2007 as an experimental social blog directory, and has gradually evolved into a purely content-driven service, delivering content from a variety of sources to a wide spectrum of internet users.

All the content on this site is submitted, and voted for by the community, so there's something for everyone. Our categories range from technology, to news & politics and gaming, also covering a wide range of topics in-between.

 

Pijoo Team

Brett - Founder/Lead Programmer
Brett is responsible for all the jiggery-pokery (also referred to as php/mysql) behind the scenes that makes the site run smoothly. When he's not overseeing the day-to-day running of the site, Brett freelances, writing software and web applications for other people.

Calvin - Creative/Marketing
Calvin is a professional illustrator and published author, who oversees creative & marketing aspects of the site. He can usually be found with a sketchpad, creating bizarre characters and drinking tea. Claims he was raised by turtles, but there's little or no evidence to support that.

Kali - Community Manager
Kali is our community manager, who makes sure our users are happy with the way the site is run, and keeps everyone in line. By day, she's a talented fashion designer, specialising in bespoke corsets and costumes for film & theatre.
